Dove and Crow are handymen relaxing and laying low after completing their latest job. Their relaxation is interrupted when their hotel room is wrongfully raided by the police, not because they haven’t done anything wrong, but because they didn’t do what the police specifically believed them to have done. Though whoever did do it used the same aliases as Dove and Crow were in the process of using. This sets the two off on an investigation to work out why they were raided and what kind of mess they’ve been wrapped up in.
